Atul Subhash had to end his life to get justice for his estranged wife, Nikita Singhania’s false cases. The late 34-year-old techie left a 24-page suicide note, a video, and a ‘justice is due’ wish. Soon, Atul Subhash’s family registered a complaint against his estranged wife, Nikita and her family. After which, they ran away from their Jaunpur home in Uttar Pradesh, but Nikita was arrested from Gurugram on December 15, 2024.
Nikita Singhani denied all the harassment allegations
A TOI report quoted Nikita Singhania, who denied all such harassment allegations made against her by the late Atul Subhash and her family. She claimed that she was living apart from her husband for nearly three years and didn’t harass him for money. She was quoted as saying:
“If I harassed him for money, why would I stay away from him?”
Nikita Singhania even claimed that she was the one who was being harassed during the course of their marriage. After this, she filed a police complaint in 2022, accusing Atul Subhash of dowry-related harassment and assault.

Nikita Singhania and her family were on a run in fear of arrest. Meanwhile, they had applied for anticipatory bail in the matter. But one phone call by Nikita Singhania helped police catch her. A source close to the police shared details of the same with the IANS. They revealed that the accused had locked up their home in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur the moment the Bengaluru police registered the case against them. However, the police posted the notice at Singhania’s home, and they informed them to appear within three days.
The police team even made a list of the Singhania’s close relatives and monitored them. However, Nikita Singhania, who was the late 34-year-old Bengaluru techie’s estranged wife, made calls via WhatsApp. It made her difficult to track. However, Nikita made one call to one of her relatives, which became her mistake.
Soon, the police tracked the tower location and reached the PG, accommodating in Gurugram’s Rail Vihar. The police official detained her and asked her to make a call to her mother. When Nisha Singhania received the call, police tracked her down and took them into custody.
