Atul Subhash's Wedding Photo Surfaces After His Suicide Due To Wife's Demand Of Rs. 3 Cr Alimony

The way Atul Subhash ended his life by hanging himself at his Bengaluru home is heartbreaking. No person should suffer to the level that they are forced to end their life, that too, at the hands of the life partner they chose to spent their entire life with. The 34-year-old Atul Subhash committed suicide on December 9, 2024, after his wife, Nikita Singhania, filed nine cases against him and his family. A 24-page suicide note and a 90-minute video made their way onto the internet after his drastic step.

Atul Subhash’s wedding picture surfaced on the internet as his estranged wife’s family is on run

Recently, we stumbled upon the late Bengaluru techie, Atul Subhash’s wedding picture. They got married in 2019, and soon, the marriage faced a lot of hiccups. However, their marriage fell when Atul’s wife, Nikita, started demanding huge amounts of money from him. Later, she filed nine cases against him. She didn’t even allow him to meet their son. In the picture, we can see the late Atul Subhash smiling as he posed with his then-bride.

Atul Subhash, in his suicide note, revealed his wife, demanded Rs. 3 crore in order to withdraw her cases

Men do suffer, and no matter what the world says, at times, things become so ugly that they are forced to end their lives. Atul went through the same ordeal in his last heartbreaking video, which has been going viral on the internet. Atul revealed that his wife, Nikita Singhania, demanded a sum of Rs. 3 crore to withdraw her cases against him. Frustrated by the judicial system, which is in support of women, Atul decided to end his life.

Atul Subhash’s half of salary was given to his well-settled wife, Nikita Singhania

Atul Subhash’s drastic step has rekindled the debate across the country about the pressure and humiliation a man has to go through under the dowry act, which is being misused against the boy’s family. The lawyer Dinesh Mishra, who represented Atul Subhash in the family court, said that he presented a truthful account of his experience with the justice system.

The lawyer shared that the judge was not behind Atul’s death. The 34-year-old Bengaluru techie earned approximately around Rs. 84,000 monthly. It was in July 2024, the Family Court of Jaunpur ordered him to pay Rs. 40,000 maintenance for their son. The lawyer clearly stated that the amount was for the child’s welfare and not for the well-settled wife. Lawyer was quoted as saying:

“Atul probably thought this Rs 40,000 was too much. If he felt this amount was excessive, he should have gone to the High Court to challenge it.”

Let us inform you that filing a case in the High Court to challenge the family court decision is not easy. The lawyers take a lot of money to file the case. It is a vicious circle that people often get stuck in. And Atul Subhash dealt with the same. The humiliation from his wife and her family to being dragged into court for a crime he had never committed was way too much to deal with.

We hope and pray that Atul Subhash gets justice and that his family and soul can find peace!
