Bhavana Pandey has garnered significant attention since her recent appearance in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. What many people might not know, Bhavana shares a strong bond with Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, with a steadfast decades-long camaraderie. Even their daughters, Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday, blossomed into the next generation of Bollywood royalty. Recently, Bhavana opened up about Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan’s enduring impact on her family.
Bhavana Pandey talks about her bond with Gauri Khan
Bhavana Pandey recently joined Siddharth Kannan for a candid chat sharing some interesting anecdotes from her life. As we saw on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Bhavana shares a close bond with the other Bollywood wives, including Seema Sajdeh, Neelam Kothari Soni and Maheep Kapoor. However, Bhavana revealed in the chat how Gauri Khan, despite her limited presence on the Netflix series, is the glue that ultimately holds the friend group together. Bhavana shared:
“Gauri is the crux of our friendship. Because even though she can come across as the person who is the most disconnected, she is actually the most connected to each one of us… she is the one who makes the plans. We always end up meeting in her house. Even when the kids were growing up, because she had a garden we would all meet at her house, because the kids could play and run around. They had the space.”
Bhavana shares Shah Rukh Khan’s positive influence on the kids
During the same chat, Bhavana Pandey shared how Shah Rukh Khan has played the role of a father figure while Gauri handled the social front. The celebrity costume designer recalled Shah Rukh’s lasting impression on her kids, saying:
“There’s so much to learn from him. And I am actually very glad that the children spent so much time around him. Because it’s not about being Shah Rukh Khan, it’s how he has been as a father to Suhana, Aryan and now AbRam. And how he has been with my children. It’s been amazing.”
Bhavana further revealed that she and her husband, Chunky Panday, used to get lazy when it came to sport-related activities. He used to train the Panday clan and play with them whenever he had free time. She told Siddharth Kannan:
“Whatever free time he had, he wanted to train them, which was amazing. Sports, running, football, he used to do all the sports with the kids because I think he himself is a very active sporty person… Shah Rukh taught them the art of being competitive in a healthy manner… he used to always take their side over Aryan and the boys.”
Bhavana’s thoughts on Aryan Khan and his interactions with the children
Bhavana, in the same conversation, shared her thoughts on Shah Rukh’s elder son, Aryan Khan, and she couldn’t stop gushing over his qualities. According to Bhavana, Aryan is ‘one of the sweetest boys’ who is always protective of his childhood friends. She gave Shah Rukh full credit for raising strong, independent kids.
Well, Bhavana surely couldn’t stop gushing about her dear friends, especially SRK, who taught her children, Ananya and Rysa Panday to stay humble and enjoy healthy competition. These anecdotes once again prove why SRK is not just the King of Bollywood but also the king of hearts.
