‘Home Town’ star’s health history revealed

Erin Napier and her story of illness and recovery may go back further than fans believe.

While Ben Napier has made headlines for his weight loss, a step he took for health reasons, Erin’s health has also caught the attention of viewers.

In fact, H.some city Fans have seen signs of Erin’s illness and recovery on the HGTV show.

Erin Napier had a ‘mystery illness’ that threatened her life

Years ago, Erin Napier began experiencing intense pangs of pain that negatively affected her life. She lost days of time and doctors couldn’t determine the cause at first.

“At first, it was 24 hours of terrible stomach pain and low fever, and then it would go away,” Erin recalled. People in a 2018 interview. “It turned into two days, then three.”

In the end, it was necessary exploratory surgery to identify the cause.

Erin Napier had a perforated appendix

Typically, a person with appendix problems will first experience appendicitis: the organ becomes inflamed and painful. Doctors can diagnose this quickly. The solution is an appendectomy, to remove the organ before it ruptures.

That wasn’t Erin’s situation. Instead, her appendix would burst, which is already bad. And then she would heal herself before breaking out again.

Doctors found a huge amount of internal scar tissue between his organs. Among other things, this threatened her ability to have children with her husband Ben Napier.

This started when she was only 19 years old.

“The first time it happened, when I was 19, it was partially broken,” Erin detailed. “Not enough to kill me, just enough to make me sick.”

Fortunately, once doctors identified the problem, they removed his appendix. This relieved his long-standing abdominal pain.

In the end, we know she was able to have children, because she and Ben share two daughters.

Why did Erin Napier have throat surgery in 2022?

Much more recently, Erin was hospitalized and underwent throat surgery. She talked about her hospital stay on Instagram at the time.

“Spending this night in the hospital after a throat procedure and feeling so cared for by an old friend,” Erin wrote at the time.

However, Erin decided not to reveal why she had needed surgery in the first place. Fans spent that time on the edge of their seats.

Erin Napier’s Mysterious Illness Was a Tonsil Abscess

In January 2023, Erin explained her hospitalization in 2022 on Twitter.

“I was hospitalized with a tonsil abscess during this lockdown,” she shared. Erin was talking to Native city viewers who wondered about this batch of episodes.

“So this episode and several others are about to have me with a weird voice and a super swollen face from IV steroids,” Erin explained.

Has mental illness entered the picture?

Erin has opened up about her own experiences with serious ailments that have made her more attentive to her family’s health.

“I spend an inordinate amount of my time avoiding illnesses,” Erin acknowledged in a 2012 blog post. “I scan Facebook every morning looking for who is sick so I can avoid them for the next 10 days.

She characterized: “It’s a mental problem, really, my fear of getting sick.”

“It’s extremely scary for me”

“I’m not talking about a cold, I’m talking about the flu, the stomach bug… We’ve been together for 8 years and neither of us have had the flu in that time…” Erin shared.

“This sounds incredibly stupid,” he said. “There are people with illnesses and illnesses much worse than the common flu, but it scares me a lot.”

Just for the record, it is advisable to take sensible steps to avoid the flu. As we’ve all seen in recent years, surviving a virus doesn’t always mean it will leave you unchanged. The flu is much less dangerous than COVID-19, but it’s still no joke.
