IndiGo Delhi-Jeddah flight diverts to Karachi; later returns to IGI Airport

NEW DELHI: IndiGo’s Delhi-Jeddah flight (6E 63) was diverted to Karachi late on Friday night. It is learnt that the diversion was due to a medical emergency. Comments have been sought from the airline.
The aircraft had taken off from Delhi at 9.15 pm on December 13 and it landed in Karachi at 11 pm (all timings local). Flight tracking sites show three hour later, at about 1.55 am on Saturday, the Airbus A321 left Karachi and returned to Delhi at 3.54 am.
