Jennifer Lopez is wearing her wedding ring again, after temporarily removing it to promote her J.Lo Beauty line this week, amid rumors that she and Ben Affleck are headed for divorce.
The 54-year-old singer, who performed the hit “On the Floor,” was photographed on Thursday shopping for rose bushes in New York City with her manager, Benny Medina, where it was hard to miss her bright green Affleck dress.
She rocked the Independence Day heat in a pair of baggy tan pants and a blue and white striped button-down shirt with a floral print. She shielded her eyes from the sun with a wide-brimmed hat and accessorized with oversized hoop earrings.
Lopez’s visit to the Big Apple on July 4 came the morning after Affleck was spotted on the opposite coast. He spent time with two of the children he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, in Los Angeles.
The “Way Back” star, 51, grabbed a bite to eat with Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, at Kaz The Soba Place along with two of their friends. The group seemed to be in good spirits, with Affleck even sporting a rare smile as his eldest daughter wrapped her arm around his neck.
She also shares 12-year-old son Samuel with Garner, 52.
Affleck and Lopez spent their Fourth of July holiday apart shortly after the singer enjoyed another solo getaway with friends.
Rumors that the two were on the verge of divorce began circulating in May when the “Marry Me” star attended the Met Gala solo.
She also walked the red carpet for the premiere of her latest Netflix film, “Atlas,” without Affleck by her side.
Lopez has since reportedly given up on trying to save her marriage because she feels she “can’t do more” to help it, a source told the Daily Mail.
A source told Page Six in May that Affleck would “get a divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if he could.
Meanwhile, a second source close to the estranged couple told Page Six earlier this week that they have been dating since March, but noted that the actor remains “very protective” of Lopez.
Last week it was reported that Affleck moved all of his belongings out of the mansion he shared with Lopez in Los Angeles (which they are trying to sell) while the singer was on vacation in Italy.
The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022 and celebrated with a formal ceremony for family and friends at Affleck’s estate in Georgia the following month.
The “Gigli” co-stars were originally engaged in the early 2000s before calling it quits in 2004.
