The road to WWE Clash in Paris just got a major shake‑up. During Friday’s SmackDown taping in Dublin, Ireland, it was announced that Solo Sikoa will defend his United States Championship against Sami Zayn next week.

Could WWE pull a last‑minute swerve and shift the bout to Paris two days later? Technically, yes — but insiders say it’s unlikely. No other new matches for the Paris card were confirmed on the show.

With the premium live event now just nine days away, nearly half of the rumored lineup still hasn’t been made official.

What’s Locked In So Far

Four matches are confirmed, headlined by John Cena vs. Logan Paul in a generational showdown. Also on the books: Seth Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal 4‑Way against CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight.

But according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, three more title bouts are in the works — and two could be confirmed as soon as next Friday’s SmackDown.

The Rumored Additions

  • Sami Zayn has made it clear he’s coming for Solo Sikoa’s U.S. Title. After pinning the former Tribal Chief twice this month, Zayn’s momentum is undeniable.
  • Becky Lynch is reportedly set to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
  • The WWE Championship is also expected to be on the line, with Cody Rhodes facing Drew McIntyre — a clash fueled by McIntyre’s brutal Claymore that sent Rhodes head‑first into the commentary desk weeks ago.

The Mystery Title Picture

One glaring omission from WWE’s internal rundown? The Women’s World Championship.

Stephanie Vaquer earned her shot by winning last month’s Women’s Battle Royal at Evolution, but there’s currently no champion to face. Naomi vacated the title on Monday after announcing her pregnancy. Commentary hinted that we’ll learn more about the belt’s future on the next episode of Raw.
