Lady Gaga reveals what she would have worn at the 2024 Met Gala

Lady Gaga is giving fans a glimpse of what could have been. The 38-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday to share photos of the outfit she reportedly wore at the Met Gala 2024 she had attended.

The all-black look, save for a deep purple flower covering her lips, featured swirling details around Gaga’s eyes and a dramatically arched piece that ran from one arm to the other, curving around her head.

“THIS IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE WORN TO THE MET GALA. THE GARDEN GIMP,” she captioned her post, revealing that the outfit was designed by AZIZ, while the mask was designed by Philip Treacy.

This year’s Met Gala was themed Sleeping Beauties: A Fashion Awakening and a Garden of Time dress code.

Gaga, however, did not attend the 2024 event and has not been present at the annual gala since 2019. It was speculated that Gaga’s absence this year was due to her filming schedule for Joker: Folie à Deuxwho will star alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

Whatever the reason for her absence, Gaga found another opportunity to show off the look, as she opted to wear it to the premiere of Gaga Chromatic Ball.
