ForbesNew York Times Clues and Answers on Sunday June 30 Connections

Hello everyone! Welcome to the start of a new week! In some ways we are already at the halfway point of 2024. The first half of the year was good for me. We hope this continues and that the rest of 2024 will be great for you too.

from today NYT Connections Clues and answers will appear immediately.

How to play Connections

In Connectionsyou are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to organize them into four groups of four by discovering the links between them. The groups could be horror movie franchises, some type of verb, or rappers.

There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will need to be careful of words that may fit into more than one category. You can mix up the words to perhaps help you see the links between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to decipher, the blue and green are in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult to deduce. The purple group usually involves puns, so keep that in mind.

Select four words that you think go together and press Submit. If you try to guess and get it wrong, you will lose a life. If you’re close to having a correct group, you may see a message telling you that you’re one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still have to decide which one to trade.

If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and if you’re really struggling, today’s game Connections answers.

What are today’s Connections answers?

Spoiler alert! Don’t scroll any further down the page until you’re ready for today’s news. Connections answers.

This is your last warning!

from today Connections The answers are…

  • Yellow group: show the way (LEAD, GUIDE, LEADER, COMPANION)
  • Green group — scheme (CON, HUSTLE, RACKET, STING)
  • Blue group: seen on a US dollar bill (EAGLE, PYRAMID, SEAL, WASHINGTON)
  • Purple group: first word of the Canadian provinces and territories (BRITISH, NORTHWEST, NOVA, PRINCE)

My second straight loss was frustrating since a) it’s Canada Day and that should have clicked and b) that’s the country I live in. Now I’m worried I won’t be able to get back in after my vacation.

I saw STING, USHER and PRINCE early on, but I didn’t see any other mononymous singers who could accompany them. Then I turned my attention to the Greens, but I made a mistake by including PYRAMID instead of STING at the beginning. I corrected it for my first group.

Then I found the yellow ones before I ran into problems. I had no idea about blues or violets. NOVA should have been enough of a clue for the latter. But after some random guesses, my luck ran out.

That’s all there is to do for today. Connections Hints and Answers. Don’t forget to visit my blog for hints and the solution to Tuesday’s game if you need them.

PS: On Friday I went to a very fun concert, where The Darkness (a band I love deeply) and the always enjoyable Busted played. So let’s start with my favorite song from the latter to start this week.
