Katie Price says latest cosmetic work left her ‘looking like a hamster’

Katie Price has revealed that her latest cosmetic surgery trip to Brussels has left her with significant swelling and bruising, leading her to compare her appearance to a hamster. The 48-year-old television personality shared the news on her Instagram Stories as she prepared for the National Television Awards in London on September 8 .

Price explained that she traveled to Brussels to correct an asymmetry issue with her breast implants. ‘I went to Brussels because one of my boobs was still slightly bigger than the other,’ she said. ‘So, they put a new implant in, and while they were there, I said, ‘Oh, go on, just put a bit more in both of them’’ .

In addition to the breast procedure, she also received facial filler around her temples. ‘Where my face was hollow here, as you get older and lose weight, he put filler in for me, obviously while I’m asleep, and he does it under the muscle, right into the bone,’ she detailed .

The former glamour model stated that the swelling from the facial filler altered her appearance. ‘I’ve woken up this morning… I think the swelling has dropped so I look like a hamster and it’s sore,’ she told her followers .

Despite the post-procedure effects, Price was determined to attend the NTAs. She enlisted makeup artist Mitchell Halliday to cover the bruising, including a black eye. In a video shared on Instagram, she expressed her delight with the results, saying, ‘This is the new me, you’re going to have to come everywhere with me. You are the ultimate, there is not a better makeup artist than you’ .

Price walked the red carpet at the O2 Arena with her daughter, Princess Andre, 19, while her son Junior reportedly declined a family photo opportunity . Her appearance drew significant reaction on social media, with many users commenting that she looked ‘unrecognisable’ .

This latest procedure comes after Price estimated in a recent interview that she has undergone approximately 30 to 40 cosmetic surgeries over the years, including numerous breast augmentations and facelifts .

As of her appearance at the National Television Awards, Katie Price was continuing her recovery from the procedures, with visible swelling and bruising covered by heavy makeup .
