‘Kill Jackie’ Trailer Debuts as Catherine Zeta-Jones Thriller Sets October Premiere

AMC+ has released the official trailer for ‘Kill Jackie,’ the upcoming revenge thriller series starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, ahead of its October 2 premiere on the streaming platform. The eight-episode series will debut exclusively on AMC+ in the United States on that date, with new episodes airing weekly.

The trailer showcases Zeta-Jones in the titular role of Jackie Price, a former international drug smuggler who has spent two decades living a luxurious life as an art dealer while trying to remain anonymous. Her carefully constructed existence is upended when she discovers that a squad of elite hitmen known as the Seven Demons has been hired to kill her.

International Distribution and Release

In addition to its U.S. debut on AMC+, ‘Kill Jackie’ will premiere on Prime Video on October 2 in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada. AMC Global Media acquired exclusive U.S. streaming rights to the series in July 2026. Warner Bros Discovery has also acquired rights for HBO Max across multiple European territories, including Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, France and Belgium.

Cast and Creative Team

Zeta-Jones leads an ensemble cast that includes Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Bill Paterson, Ron Perlman, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw and Raff Law. The supporting roster also features Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Julian Barratt, Gavin Spokes and Jonathan Cake, among others.

The series is based on Nick Harkaway’s 2018 novel ‘The Price You Pay,’ which he wrote under the pen name Aidan Truhen. The television adaptation gender-swaps the central character, with Zeta-Jones taking on the role of Jackie Price for the screen.

From the creative team behind ‘Killing Eve’ and ‘Gangs of London,’ ‘Kill Jackie’ is co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth, Peter Lawson and Damon Thomas. Butterworth serves as writer and showrunner, with Thomas as lead director. Keane co-wrote the television adaptation. Zeta-Jones is among the executive producers, alongside Butterworth, Thomas, Lawson, Jose Agustin Valdes, Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto and Jeffrey Levine.

Production Background

The project was originally announced in February 2025, with Fremantle, Steel Springs Pictures and Prime Video revealing Zeta-Jones as the lead. Production began the following month and later wrapped ahead of its planned 2026 launch. The series is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures, with Fremantle handling international sales outside the US. Production was supervised in Bizkaia, Spain, by Deabru Kalea Filmeak.

‘Kill Jackie’ marks another significant television role for Zeta-Jones, who is also set to appear in the upcoming third season of ‘Wednesday’ as Morticia Addams. The series is scheduled to premiere on AMC+ in the U.S. and on Prime Video in select international markets on October 2, 2026.
