The adoption news comes less than two weeks after Brown shared a hint about her growing family on social media. In an Instagram post on September 7, Brown shared a video from a family trip to the Dolomites in Italy.

In the video, Brown is seen holding her daughter while Bongiovi walks alongside her with a baby carrier strapped to his chest. The view of the newest addition was obscured as the couple strolled with alpacas.

Previous Adoption

In August 2025, Brown announced that she and Bongiovi had welcomed their first daughter through adoption. ‘This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,’ she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. ‘And then there were 3.’

The couple has kept many details about their first child private, including her name. Fans have speculated that the daughter may be named Ruth after Brown’s late grandmother, based on a necklace the actress has been seen wearing.

Brown has previously spoken about her desire to adopt. In a June interview on the ‘Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce’ podcast, she said she ‘always’ wanted to adopt.

‘It was always part of my childhood dreams,’ Brown said. ‘Every time I was at home and I was, you know, 5, 6 years old, my parents were like, You had your baby dolls. They were all adopted. I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant.’

Brown clarified that she plans to carry children of her own one day, adding, ‘It’s not because I don’t want that. Hopefully one day that’s in my future.’ She also said, ‘Adoption is love, adoption is forever.’

Family Life

Brown, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, tied the knot in May 2024 in an intimate ceremony. The couple lives on a farm in Georgia with their children and multiple animals, including 10 dogs.

In a previous interview with British Vogue, Brown spoke about the joy of becoming a mother. ‘It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey,’ she said. ‘She’s taught us so much already.’
