The Traitors Season 5 Cast Revealed as Peacock Renews Show Through 2029

Peacock unveiled the celebrity cast for Season 5 of ‘The Traitors’ on Friday, confirming a 23-person lineup that includes Kristin Chenoweth, Dominic Monaghan, and Casey Wilson. The announcement comes days after the streamer ordered three additional seasons of the Emmy-winning reality competition series.

The new season will launch in 2027, though Peacock has not set a specific premiere date. Alan Cumming will return as host and executive producer.

The cast mixes reality television veterans, actors, athletes, and online creators. The full list includes Bianca Del Rio, Boman Martinez-Reid, Bronwyn Newport, Casey Wilson, Chloe Kim, Cody Simpson, Craig Conover, Cynthia Bailey, Dominic Monaghan, Emira D’Spain, Gizelle Bryant, Iain Stirling, Jag Bains, JaNa Craig, Joey Graziadei, Johnny Sibilly, Kristin Chenoweth, Michele Fitzgerald, Q Burdette, Rachel Robinson, Rashad Jennings, Taylor Hale, and Whitney Leavitt.

‘The stage is set for a new season of The Traitors,’ Cumming said in a teaser posted to Instagram on September 18. ‘And what a company we’ve assembled.’

The cast reveal follows a major expansion for the franchise. On September 16, Peacock announced it had renewed ‘The Traitors’ for three more seasons, taking the show through its eighth season. The order came after the series won all seven Emmy Awards it was nominated for this year, including a third consecutive win for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and a third consecutive Outstanding Host award for Cumming.

Peacock also launched a civilian spinoff titled ‘The Traitors: New Blood,’ which premiered on NBC on September 17 with a two-hour, two-episode event. The spinoff features 22 non-celebrity contestants and introduced a new ‘accomplice’ twist. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.

The mainline series has become a ratings success for Peacock. Since its January 8 premiere, the show has accumulated 8.1 billion minutes viewed and ranks as the second most-streamed reality series of 2026, behind only ‘Love Island USA.’

‘The Traitors’ is produced by Studio Lambert. The format was devised by IDTV and RTL. Stephen Lambert, Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, and Darrell Olsen serve as executive producers alongside Cumming.

Season 5 of ‘The Traitors’ remains scheduled for a 2027 launch. No official premiere date has been announced.
